Do you know Jenna?

Do you know anyone named Jenna?

One meaning of the name is that Jenna is a fanciful respelling of the name Jenny, which is derived from the English Jennifer.
Jennifer is a version of the Celtic name Guinevere from Arthurian Legends. Guinevere comes from the Gaelic name “Gwenhwyfar” which translates to gwen (fair) + hwyfar (smooth), or, quite simply: the fair one. In the Arabic language, Jenna apparently means “small bird.”

Thanks to the popular 1980s television series, Dallas, the name experiences a significant increase in usage between 1978 and 1984. One of the key characters of the series, Jenna Wade, was notably played by Priscilla Presley.

Have a great day,

Very cute bears! And, beautiful and lovely. Interesting post. I can't remember Priscilla Presley playing Jenna. I kept thinking of Victoria Principle who played Bobby's wife. I have met a few Jennas on blogs though. Maybe I'm partial to the name, but it is a pretty name. And a lovely bear to go w/it. Thanks, Jenn (Jennifer)
